5 Things to Do When Your Partner is Moody on The Trip

No matter how old you are you’ll get the excitement when you finally issued the flights, discussing where places you want to visit while enjoy a cup of flat white, and perhaps imagine where you’ll take your OOTD pictures. Then later when you’re on trip, what if your partner get so moody or in a bad mood? Say mad for hours of delays, got room which is not what he/she made the request while booking, weather is too cold too hot ruined up the mood to go out from the bed, or perhaps it is just you become so wishy washy from the plan?

OK, here’s our 5 ideas of things to do when your partner is moody while traveling.

1. Back rub

Massage is like DIY antidepressant, “when touch receptors are manipulated, your system produce higher amounts of the neurotransmitter serotonin, a natural mood booster”.

For us, none of us can resist massage. A full body massage or foot massage are always yes to go. But no matter how tired we are, if one of us give even for 5minutes back rub will be fully appreciated. That touch also represents our affection and care. Snap!! How I want it so bad now!

2. Meals by the pool, river, or beach

(or without meals) The idea is being near to watery area; beach, ocean, pool, river, or lake. Our affinity for water is reflected in the near-universal attraction to the blue color, naturally drawn to aquatic hues.

3. Tea time

Rather than coffee, take them for tea with little tooth pleasure sweet and salty. It’s also not only boost your immune system but reduce stress which related with lowering levels of cortisol, improve sleep, mood and energy. We recommend you to try chamomile, lavender, lemon balm, passion flower, and ginseng.

Tea time often accompany with small cakes. Aside from the taste, seeing colorful cakes with great art platting also can pleased your eyes and brains. You don’t have to go to high-end restaurant, small café also offers various tea then you can order cakes after.

4. Nap time

Without really realizing, out of nowhere tired can caused a bad mood. Perhaps your partner doesn’t want to be seen tired because they know you are still on the mood to stroll around or to push it since they did hard for work and saving.

Be aware of your lovely one! If they refuse it, just say back you are tired and need a rest. Traveling is commitment of two, right?

5. Little cute cheesy surprise

Be creative with this! You better spend some bucks than to wasted your overall travel cost.

You can go to 7eleven while he/she take a nap, buy some beautifully packaged beverage with snacks you can’t find in your country. Put it beside him/her with some notes and let the sweets do the work. As known sweets/chocolate can bring back a good mood.
